Groo the Wanderer
Elvis, John Denver, Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond....classics! and all the other stuff too. Don;t care much for baroque though. Bach is kinda irritating to me.
Nihil Obstat
Loved classical music since I was like... 5 :P Bach, Rachmaninoff, Bartok, Fauré, Beethoven, Chopin are some of my favourites. I listen to and love all kinds of music. But I mostly play classical myself. :) I love me some Rachmaninoff. :like3: Also when I said Renaissance earlier, I meant to say Renaissance and Baroque. I always make that mistake. Some kind of mental block.
Papist
I've gone baroque buying classical music. Though my favorites are the works of Peter Tchaikovsky.
Papist
And how can you not like Brahms. Just look at that beard.
DiscerningCatholic
I've been listening to classical music since I can remember hearing. I'm working on a Mozart fantasy right now. :smile3:
Not The Philosopher
Yes! Top composers for me at the moment are: Palestrina, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and perhaps Prokofiev.
iheartjp2
Verdi, Mozart, Handel, Brahms, R. Strauss, Marx, Donizetti, and Bellini are my faves (and are all part of my rep).

Evangetholic
Mozart, always Mozart. (brofist over my entirely heterosexual man-crush on this dead dude?)
TheLordsSouljah
I was a classical orchestral touring (sometimes internationally) musician for five years. Then God called. And I'm 18. Don't feel awkward about it - it's not different or 'uncool' at all: there's actually a heap of high-class competitive-as higher-society teens and young adults that are classical music lovers... and they express it too. Visit a Conservatorium and find out. :) Love the [high] class. God bless!
Era Might
I like classical music, but I don't know much about it. But I like Beethoven, his stuff is bursting with personality.
add
I'm a Classic 1960's and 70's music fan A lot of good stuff from that era
FutureSister2009
I've only really become obsessed with the epicness of Classical music, particularly from the Baroque Era. So many different styles of composers. Each piece is unique with it's own meaning.
carmenchristi
I hope this doesn't count as a hijack. I don't want to start a new thread just for this. Which Chopin nocturne do you prefer? Db maj: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0VhKERbhkE&sns=em Or Ab maj: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWjK8Pdm3B8&sns=em I'm undecided....... My favourite is Op 27 no 1, in C# minor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AnliU1bMKY :P Out of those 2 though, I think I like the second one (op 55 no 2)... today at least. It really depends on my mood. I love all the nocturnes though. I want to learn them all eventually.
