Pax domini bretheren,sympathiesers and others...

So, i have been examining my concience on this scriptural matter of truth from one of this weeks readings, and how jesus says no one can come to the father except through the son, than goes on to say he is the way,the truth and the life. Ok, so i was thinking this being the truth and all for christians but as to whether or not others outside of the faith can get to know Jesus in some manner, for jesus also states he stands at the doorway of you heart and knocks, which i am assuming means the whole of humanity(my assumption may be wrong.) Like of course i believe it better to have an intimate relationship with the father through the son by the power of the holy spirit in his holy catholic church. So all come to the father only through christ Jesus, i believe this.

For me better to be christian, but God is all powerful so just maybe some others do open there hearts to Jesus even though there not christian even though they have never read holy scripture, even though they have never partaken of the holy sacraments. I don't nescisarily believe the biblical idea of being condemned is go to hell you hethen scum, i think it's more that people outside of knowing jesus are possibly taught the ways of God through his wrath/justice/discipline. I don't know i just wan't to talk about this stuff to hear others points of view, and i can't get it all out in one which i believe without discussion.

Jesus iz LORD.

To Jesus, through Mary...

ALL must pass through Jesus, so to speak, to reach the Father. However, Jesus does not do this alone.  It is not that He could not do this alone. He most certainly could. However, He CHOOSES to involve His creation in the work of salvation. Through His angels and saints, through His Church, and especially, through His holy mother Mary.

i just believe others can get to heaven too even if they have never heard the name of the lord and saviour Jesus the christ., anything iz possible to God.

Like i guess my point is all things are possible to GOD and if it is possible that one can get saved outside of his holy church than it is Jesus whom does the saving anyway. I was thinking also that i do believe his favour rests on the faithful in a very special way that the rest of the world may not experience so often, or ever, in such a special way.

  • 2 weeks later...

as it says in The Gospel of John 1:12

paraphrasing,

"Even to them that believe on the Name, gave He power to become Sons of God"

Meaning, from my personal opinion, that if you believe in the name of Jesus. You have the possibility of meeting Our Lord when you pass through the physical death.

This could just be making a worldly claim to becoming Sons of Him, but then again, we believe in the Spirit. Right?

I am familiar with Hindus who have claimed to have seen Jesus in their ecstacies. I believe them. I see no reason not to.

There might be a period of Righteous Judgement, but that's ok, I am not sure if it will hurt their Soul that bad.

Even if they don't make it to Heaven,

They might be sent back for another "go around", for, like our good buddy said, nothing shall be impossible with God!

Hope I could help. See ya.
