Lil Red
I love kitties. Though they can sometimes be annoying and mess up my singing performances, I still love the heck out of them. My cat, Itty Bitty Kitty, has a very endearing quality about her, that quality being that she worships me. She follows me around the house everywhere I go just like a dog would. If I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I close the door and she's outside of it, she will put her paw under the door and try to open it because she hates it when I'm closed off from her. Every time I lie down to sleep she gets on my chest and purrs. She's so adorable! :kitten: just wait until she turns on you, by ripping up your breviary or some such thing. PhuturePriest
just wait until she turns on you, by ripping up your breviary or some such thing. I don't have a breviary. Though she did break my favorite Rosary that I personally touched to bones of Saints like Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Padre Pio, and Saint John Vianney. Guest
I have this book that's supposed to help you interpit dreams from a christian perspective...anyhow a cat in this book is symbolized as a demon...and no kidding every time I have dreams with a cat in it they are biting me like crazy...just last night I had this dream where this cat was going crazy and biting the heck out of me...the dream seemed to last forever...it sucked I would say it was like a nightmare...although not scary just very painful if its possible to feel pain in dreams...which I think it is...so anyhow I do agree that cats are from the devil... zabbazooey
:kitten: :kitten: :kitten: My cat, Miss Kitty, is older than FP! We got her in 1995, for my 8th birthday. She will be 18 this year. She is balding near her eyes and has lost a considerable amount of weight. Not as active or playful. She used to be quite crabby and borderline nasty (would not let people pet her with their left hand) but now she is soooo sweet. Loves pets, hugs, and to be held and sit in laps. Great cat! I am going to cry so hard when she goes. I keep thinking ... this has GOT to be her last year with us. She proves us wrong and keeps on truckin'. I love her so much :) It's cool having a pet from childhood at 25 years of age.

I don't want to give you hopes of your cat living up to twenty five, but sometimes they do. Cats seem to live longer than dogs, at least in my experience. Debra Little
I like cats better myself. They are independent and love you because they choose to, not because they are just wired to. And they are cute! We had this cat that always tried to get into my room and get me to pay attention to her. It was sometimes annoying, like when I was doing homework. When she died, I remember thinking that she was like God in a way, no matter how many times the door was not open, she still came back again later, meowing or plunking for the door to be opened. it can be a bit irritating when willie jumps on my lap and i am typing. kind of hard to type around a cat but i try anyway. i would rather not kick him off me. he is looking for affection from me. so i give it to him. and I didn't believe you? Well, now I do. My cat tipped over and broke my phatmass glass this morning. :( clearly she hates Catholicism and phatmass in particular. things can be replaced. God gave you your cat as a gift. She only follows you around so that she'll know what you cherish most so that she can break it.
PhuturePriest
See? She's evil. She only follows you around so that she'll know what you cherish most so that she can break it. Nope. She's been very nice to everything else. She just loves Rosaries. I've caught her in the middle of the night dragging Rosaries by her mouth, taking them to her secret lair. Basilisa Marie
You know, if cats are from the devil, that's all the more reason to own one. To convert it. :|
