petitpèlerin
I seriously think I would keep my name, ____ Marie. My first name means something that is significant and true of me on a profound level, besides being a unique and beautiful name that I love, and that is ageless and timeless enough to be appropriate for religious life; and my middle name Marie for Mary Magdalen, since I relate so much to her, especially the way she was a converted sinner, was the close friend of Jesus who simply wanted to be with him, and was an "apostle to the apostles". Other names I would like in some combination: Hannah (mother of Samuel) Claire (French version of Clare) Madeleine (French for Magdalen) Gabriel (for the angel who brought tidings of great joy) James (for Juan Diego, to whom appeared Our Lady of Guadalupe) Joseph (the silent one, the humble one, who loved Mary and Jesus so much that he must have given them daily to God) Moses (the liberator of his people with a serious mystical life) Edited February 25, 2013 by petitpèlerin

TeDeum
I think I would go with something like Br./Fr. Pius Mary of the Holy Trinity Pius because I love St. Pius X and Padre Pio, and Mary because I have a great devotion to our Blessed Mother. The "of the Holy Trinity" would be because it's the central mystery of our faith. That said I'm currently discerning a vocation to the diocesan priesthood, and am going to seminary for that starting in the fall, so it's kind of a moot point. It's never impossible to get called by a nickname. I used to want to be called Father Mario when I got ordained because I first really thought about the Priesthood while playing Super Mario Galaxy. OnlySunshine
My favorite is: Sr. Miriam Elizabeth of the Divine Mercy I would also consider: Sr. Marie John Paul Sr. Mary Gabriel Sr. Jerzy Marie Sr. Mary Augustine Sr. Regina Marie Sr. Maria Mater Misericordiae (what a mouthful!) Sr. Miriam Therese I think I would like to add these to the list: Sr. Gianna Maria (for St. Gianna Beretta Molla -- the most courageous woman of our time) Sr. Gemma Marie (for St. Gemma Galgani -- I love her prayers and the photos of her in ecstasy) But my utmost favorite is still: Sr. Miriam Elizabeth of the Divine Mercy (or Most Precious Blood)
