Letters To Pastor And Provincial Superior

So, it's been about a month since I learned I was not accepted to the order I applied to but I've put off telling my pastor and the Provincial Superior until this week.  I told the other Sister at my parish when she asked me but the Superior was not with her.  I decided, since telling them in person would be too difficult, that I would write letters to both of them and I got some nice cards thanking them for their help.  I was as positive as I could be and let them know I'm not giving up and I'm not upset either about the decision.  God has a home for me somewhere else.

 

Please pray that they receive the letters and read them with an open heart.  I know that my pastor will probably wonder why I wasn't accepted after all the help he gave me but I don't want him to think he did anything wrong.  I don't know if the Superior will approach me in Church or not but I want to be prepared if she does.  Thank you!
