franciscanheart
That's right. I forgot about Quinoa, Amaranth, and Millet. You are supposed to be be able to pop amaranth as a substitute for popcorn, but I haven't found one that does not burn yet. Any suggestions would be niceHave you tried with the air popper? LadyOfSorrows
Going gluten-free was the best thing I've ever done. I feel less bloated, more energized, and even dropped a few pounds. I have NEVER found an acceptable gluten free "bread," but Heartland gluten free pasta is so gluten-like I can't even tell the difference. You'd be surprised how easy it is to be creative-- brown rice wraps instead of flour tortillas for wrap sandwiches (and pizzas!), corn chips instead of regular chips, etc. Also, brands like Betty Crocker and King Arthur Flour make gluten-free baking easy and delicious. Gluten free products are also healthier because many of them have less preservatives and weird ingredients. For example, try comparing regular chocolate chip cookie mix to a gluten free mix. Why this is I'm not sure...
Speedy2
I live here in Europe. I love best the food I bake myself. The gluten-free things you buy ready-made are usually not really that good I think. My favourite flour is from Sweden: FINAX: http://en.finax.com/product/gluten-free-low-protein-flour-mix-non-dairy/
