MissyP89
Here's your feel-good story of the day. A wonderful example of paying it forward. From the Huffington Post: Last year, Mark and Cindy Hill made a pledge as they received their portion of the largest Powerball jackpot in history. "For some reason, (God) put it in our hands, I think, to make sure that it goes to the right things," Hill said at a November press conference, standing near a $293,750,000 check. Groo the Wanderer
rebuild my parish in a baroque style, with the tabernacle behind the altar and altar rails. lots of statuary and icons, a real organ and no jacks for guitars. add a bell tower with real bells. then a new set of classrooms and a parish hall. Roamin Catholic
Personally, I would set up an endowment for seminarians in my diocese to pay for the cost of them getting ordained. I would also set-up an endowment to help girls called to religious life in my diocese to have their past debt taken care of. Finally, I would set-up and endowment to help fund a pregnancy crisis center/boarding house to help young mother's in their most trying times. I think setting up endowments like this would do more to help my diocese than making a church look more "traditional". And trust me, I go to an ugly 70's style church so I understand the desire for improvements in the looks area.
Autumn Dusk
I would give the dioceses enough money to train more priests and help those newly ordained with student loan bills. I know for many men the concern has them second-guessing their vocation. I would buy a large apartment building or a tract of land and turn it into Catholic housing for low income working Catholics. eagle_eye222001
Buy a second phone line and build a castle with a 20 ft. moat with sharks and alligators. :D
TheresaThoma
Help out my family (pay off cars, houses, loans etc) then help out the SMMC with buying/building a convent. Then probably set up an endowment through the Mater Ecclesia Fund.
Slappo
I don't see the restoration of beauty in the Church to more or less beneficial than the encouragement of vocations. We must encourage vocations, but as persons we are also drawn to holiness by that which is beautiful. Beautiful churches may inspire vocations while endowments for funding would financially permit vocations. I'd probably do a bit of both. I'd also entirely fund anything else the Wyoming carmelites needed for their monastery.

Catholicterp7
I would use it to help out the Dominican Missionaries for the Deaf Apostolate as well as hopefully do something to be able to help encourage female Deaf vocations. JMJ+
