Gabriela
Congratulations! I don't know if you've ever read the poem "Legacy of an Adopted Child," but if you haven't, I suggest you google it. :-)

CatherineM
Today started just like nothing momentous had happened. Zach didn't want to wake up. Austin woke up too early. The dog wanted to be fed first. Have you seen my keys, I think the dog got my shoe, can I have some money, and don't forget to warm up the van. I think I left my headphones upstairs, don't forget to take your medicine, when are you going to be home, what's for dinner, and can I bring Jordan and Tristan. My life is like the end of Willy Wonka about what happened to the little boy who got everything he wanted. He lived happily ever after. The question is, who's the little boy, me or Zach. Autumn Dusk
Congratulations! I don't know if you've ever read the poem "Legacy of an Adopted Child," but if you haven't, I suggest you google it. :-) Meh, as someone who has a life not too far from Zach's it's way more complicated beucase love had a very small place in your first life and a HUGE place in your next. Today started just like nothing momentous had happened. Zach didn't want to wake up. Austin woke up too early. The dog wanted to be fed first. Have you seen my keys, I think the dog got my shoe, can I have some money, and don't forget to warm up the van. My life is like the end of Willy Wonka about what happened to the little boy who got everything he wanted. He lived happily ever after. The question is, who's the little boy, me or Zach. It really is like that, isn't it? I'm my momma's girl...and we enjoy every minute.
Anomaly
We got the court order in the mail today approving our adoption of Zach. Kind of stunning and anti-climatic at the same time. Congrats. I get the anti-climactic. You were FAMILY already!
