Rumours About Bp. Williamson

Recommended Posts

Rumour has it since the last day or so that Bishop Williamson, formerly of the FSSPX, is planning on consecrating a new bishop quite soon.

For him, I imagine that will be it if he follows through. I am willing to speculate that he and those who follow him will lapse further and further towards formal schism, then most probably some form of sedevacantism.

I do not think Bishop Williamson is an evil person, or malicious, or knowingly unfaithful. But I do think that he has accepted a powerful influence that is not from God.

We must pray all the harder for Fellay and the rest of the SSPX (and of course for Williamson himself), that they do God's will, and that all the painful wounds of the Society's situation are healed through faith and charity. God help us.

I want to apologize in advance for this.  But I feel compelled to post this, possibly under the possession of Hasan, Winchester, or MIKolbe...but double bonus schism points if it's a womyn-Bishop?

(I know Williamson wouldn't, but it was begging to be said.)

I think Bishop Williamson would probably die on the spot if someone actually suggested it. :P Probably all the blood vessels in his entire body would simultaneously rupture.
