I Am Weeping Manly Tears

Recently I have discovered I am somewhat emotional and sensitive, and this is extremely apparent now that I am watching Therese. I'm not talking a tear, I'm talking my eyes drenched in tears with loud sniffles and everything. I just watched the scene where she leaves her home and enters Carmel, and the scene where she walks through the door and glances back at her father crying was a little much for my already deteriorating state.

I have yet to see a tv show or movie that is able to make me cry.

So far the closest has been Marley and Me. It hit rather close to home. But even that did not quite get there,

I don't think a movie or TV show has made me cry.,,maybe Geary eyed kinda, but that is more theatre...now books have gotten a tear or two I must admit although it is very rare.

I've never actually cried during a movie, but I did get choked up at the end of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

Dude I get teary eyed when Pr. X goes down in X3: the Last Stand.  I am PATHETIC.  I think I was the worse in the theater for Toy Story 3...  And I was surrounded by my Mom and a bunch of like 9 year old girls.  I was like basically balling.  I told my friends if you don't cry watching Toy Story 3 and you are from my generation then you must be a terrorist or something, have a horrcrux, maybe your like the grinch and have a heart 3 sizes to small, or like 8 sizes to small or something.  Oh and almost all of my friends cried watching Toy Story 3 thank you.

The only movie I have watched countless times and actually cry...  Not get teary eyed but actually shed tears every.  Single.  Time.  Is Remember the Titans When Julian visits the white Linebacker who just crashed his car in the hospital and the Linebacker is so filled with hope about the paralympics and stuff and how the world is gonna change I cry every single time without fail.  Nothing else compares.  I have seen the Passion of the Christ 2x and the first time I was kinda young and got teary eyed but the second time I really cried.  Not the kinda movie you just sit down too with a bag of dorritos.

I haven't either. Last night I did, however, sob uncontrollably for forty minutes. That was interesting.

Passion of the Christ is actually a pizza and Doritos movie for me...in fact first time I saw it was in theater and I fell asleep...my Pastor and I were talking about it and I told him I fell asleep...he asked what part I remember last...I told him and he just "hhmmmed" and was quite for a few LONG seconds...finally he said well it appears you stayed awake longer than me. We both got a good laugh about how we both knew how it ended so it was difficult to stay in suspense.

Bahahahaha.

I was six or so when I first watched it. My sister was so certain I would have nightmares, but sadly I thought the gore and everything was cool.

The end of The Return of the King when Frodo leaves gets me every time.
