Dear Pham,

 

I have been asked by a friend to please ask your intercession for a woman, "K", and her husband, children, mother and siblings.

 

First for K -- she passed away suddenly about a week ago, but was able to receive the last sacraments, for which the family is very grateful. However, prayers would be appreciated for her.

 

The main reason to request prayers is that there is a big complication for K's funeral. She passed away in another state, and there have been complications in getting her body moved to where the funeral and burial will take place. The family is still trying to get the problems resolved. It is adding an extra strain on her grieving relatives, as they cannot plan for the funeral until her body is successfully moved.

 

Please pray for the intercession of St. Joseph to help with the details, and to give the family the graces to work through her death.

Just heard from my friend.  K's body has now arrived and the family can go ahead with plans for a funeral Friday morning.   She asked me to please thank all of you for your prayers -- the family could feel your prayer support.

 

They are also asking if you would have the charity to remember K and her family in your rosary or other prayers on Thursday night.  Because of all the drama (and there is much more going on) they have decided to not conduct a formal, public vigil, but to have the funeral alone on Friday morning.  I told her that I would be happy to vigil K myself and will pray the rosary for her and for them; if any of you care to join me, I'd be very grateful.
