OnlySunshine
Ok thanks I hope they renew it soon. I loved that website because of all the beautiful quotes by St. Augustine. :)
He is Risen!
I don't remember where I heard this, but I feel like I remember someone telling me once that the Sisters of Life have an Augustinian spirituality or influences but I could be wrong. Yes, you are right. They follow the Rule of St. Augustine. :)
OnlySunshine
I've been in contact with Sr. Angelica of the Sisters of St. Rita. I'm hoping to make a visit there when school doesn't interfere. My medical needs are not a problem for them but I don't want to enter just anywhere. I want to visit to see if their order resonates. I would love to be part of an Augustinian community. Their spirituality is my favorite. Please keep me in your prayers. :)

OnlySunshine
Will do.. praying! Thank you! Also, I asked about their formation process since there are only 2 Sisters in the USA. I'm a little concerned and I don't want to enter an order where there is not solid formation. Sister has reiterated time and again that they have help from their Motherhouse in Germany. It makes me wonder if any postulants/novices would have to go there for formation in the early years.

OnlySunshine
Awesome! ;) You are obligated to tell me how your visit with them goes! I wish I could attend the "Come and See" but I can't afford it yet. Plus, I have homework this weekend. I hope to be there soon, though! :)

nikita92
Thanks Mater! ;-o~ I saw the post above, and I have to tell you I was wondering the same thing myself. I will definitely be addressing this topic with sister A as well!

I will definitely be addressing this topic with sister A as well! That's good! I'm hoping to get an email from her within the next few days since the flu has made its rounds in the senior home. I am sure they'll take care of the formation issue but it never hurts to ask. ;)
