BarbTherese
With our east coast of Australia particuarly New South Wales now facing bushfires, Tasmania now to a lesser extent, I am reminded again of those who serve our communities at risk to themselves often. Military, fireman and police come immediately to mind. Especially our firemen just now with Australia facing bushfires and our danger prone season for massive out of control bushfires. So far, no lives have been lost to our knowledge but many people are facing great trauma in their lives including with homes some including livelihood lost. Please spare a prayer for those who serve - and not only the above, but paramedics, nurses and doctors too. All of those without whom our communities (no matter our location) would be at a dreadful loss and probably rendered almost helpless in many instances, if not completely helpless. These particular vocations ask very special Graces including The Grace of a willingness to undergo danger and/or trauma themselves to serve our communities and their fellow human beings. Thank you............Barb, South Australia
