"group" And "member Title" On Pm

Gabriela

Recommended Posts

There are different groups, and there are different member titles. Clearly the group you're in depends on your post count. Some members appear to be able to change their own member titles. What are the various groups and the ranges of post numbers they apply to? What's the deal with member titles?

Do we have a PM "User Manual" or something?

EDIT: I knew that title would turn out weirdly capitalized...

There's some old thread that states what your title is based upon how many posts you have made.

At some point, you can change your title.

I forget the numbers.  Don't expect them to be nice even numbers necessarily.  I remember them being "quirky."

There used to be a Q&A that answered this question but I can't find it.  First person to find it and post gets kudos :).

I never think through the repercussions of my hasty decisions.

You scared me... I had to double check to make sure you did't "un-regulator" me as an example of a hasty decision. :|

Nihil Obstat

While we are on the subject, is it intentional that we cannot prop people in the Phatmasser group? At least I cannot. There is still a prop button for Regulators, Admins, and C.M.s, but not for Phatmasser. I have not checked whether or not I can prop tacos or lurkers.

I'm having the same problem. I'm still getting a prop button for taco chiefs.

I also can't get into chat.

THank you for sharing the numbers with me too.  I want to know as well but never was that much in to it.  Thank you DUSt.

So...are those random post numbers?

Because they should TOTALLY BE IMPORTANT DATES IN CHRISTIAN HISTORY.

30 (Crucifixion), 50 (Council of Jerusalem), 120 (Didache) 180 (Irenaeus' Against Heresies), 313 (Edict of Milan), 400 (Vulgate Published), 590 (Pope Gregory the Great elected), 800 (Crowning of Charlemagne), 1054 (Great Schism), 1370 (Catherine calls the pope back to Rome), 1545 (Council of Trent begun), 1789 (Carroll appointed as first bishop in the USA), 1870 (declaration of papal infallibility), 1962 (opening of Vatican II)...to name a few. :|

Just an idea.  :saint2:

Sometimes it is indeed all about the numbers....

As far as props & titles and posts, I can't tell what is glitch and what is intentional on this stuff any more.

I hadn't realized that we could only prop certain people -- and if that is the case, I think that needs to be re-thunk --  because good ideas can be out of anyone.  And encouragment can be needed by anyone.    My 2 cents....  offered with all due respect to the owners & mods....

As far as 'change my own title' -- well, yes in theory, yes.... but mine (and a lot of other people's) haven't been changeable for about a month.... it says we have to declare our religion first, but that box isn't working properly.  This, I think, is a glitch for sure....

Groupings are indeed by number of posts AND by ability to pay for TACOS.  I'm poor... but at some point at least somebody thought I made a good addition to the CM mix.... if I had mocked dUSt's holly before that, might have been a different result...

Thanks for the hedge-clip, dUSt... you have inspired me to do my own in the front yard.   Love you!

And again, congrates on the dUSt-baby!
