Katiebobatie94
So after two full years of consistent discernment & three years [prior] of sporadic discernment, I truly feel that God is calling me to religious life. In particular, the Salesian Sisters of St John Bosco (Daughters of Mary Help of Christians). While I have definitely had my share of challenges, through it all He has been there to guide me & just love me unconditionally. And it has been through these experiences, as well as retreats/Come & Sees that the Lord's call in my life has become more apparent. When I visit the Salesians again in February, I plan to ask for papers to enter. While I know that nothing is ever final, I truly feel that this is where God wants me. I know it won't be easy, but I also know that God doesn't give you something without also giving you the grace to carry it out. All I ask from you all is prayers......lots of them. You are definitely all in mine & you have all been so supportive of me despite whatever has been going on in my home life.

I think he wad such a AWESOME person taking care of all those children! I actually vowed then and there that I was adopting him as my patron Saint! Is that possible?? Or does one have to have a same sex Saint?...:-\Gee..I got so emotional just writing it..I misspelled my words! Lol Anyway..Bravo in this wonderful community! He really was an AWESOME person & he so inspired me to do so many things when I was in high school as the the youth group leader. And I am pretty sure that thats possible.....especially because if you have the feminine version of a name, the initial saint becomes your patron (I think).......I could be 150% wrong. I love the Salesians so much though! :)
