Nihil Obstat Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 Cardcaptor Sakura and Inuyasha are my all time favorite animes. I actually decided to try Cardcaptor Sakura a little while ago. Since it's kind of a classic of late 90s anime, and was pretty influential within the mahou shojou genre, I figured it was worth a shot at least for its historical relevance. I'm quite impressed by it, all in all. The art style is a really solid transition between the 90s and 2000s characteristics, animation quality is rather high, and perhaps most surprising, the story isn't stupid at all.
