4588686
You have GOT to be joking. Uh, guys, this is a joke, right? Guys? No. No joke. It is illegal to grow marijuana in your backyard. It is madness. This is what I believe Winchester is referring to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wickard_v._Filburn

Akalyte
Were not talking about doing anything like that sheesh. you know, its ok for people like this: to say these kinds of things and were not suppose be mad or paranoid? http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=479842915395286&set=a.145136705532577.25873.142868065759441&type=1&theater Top Obama Adviser. that is not what we are saying, we are just talking about the results of these things. we would never have power over these things! Hasan is misenterpreting things and exxagerating. Hasan has a point, I think. Are you advocating the criminalization of vices? Should we really imprison people for homosexual acts? How are we going to enforce that? For most of Christendom, marriage has not involved State permission. I see no reason to involve the Federal government in marriage, and many reasons to keep them entirely out of it. I don't want the State involved, at all. I can write up my own legal contracts without getting permission from the political class. You need to look past Hasan's tone and see the legitimate portions of his objection. None of which have to do with his unwavering, slavering statism.

franciscanheart
Nvm. I like this. I have recruited five persons, sir. Per the rules of our organization I am now a captain and get to name my unit. I would like my official command designator to be Cpt. Sultan J. Hasan and I would like my unit to be named The Men Who Love Men Who Love Their Guns And The Freedom To Do With Them What They Please And Store Them Where They Please. I also heartly agree with the groups denunciation of socialist attempt to infilitrate America to make this land safe for homosexuals who are unashamed of their perversions and relativists and that all this relativist bull hockey was started by Descartes, who was, after all, a Frenchman. Heartily or hardly?
Akalyte
look, i didnt come here for debate, i didnt post it on the debate table, i posted to see if anyone was interested in joining, you know there are many other groups out there to be worried about, we barely started this thing and are already feeling like its not going to go anywhere. do me a favor and leave us alone. we have no intentions of causing trouble so quit with the paranoia already, http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/unraveling-story-behind-valerie-jarretts-bogus-payback-quote

Winchester
Heartily or hardly? He's been doing that sort of thing a lot, lately. Honestly, I think the boy's mind is going. And that's frankly all he had.
r2Dtoo
It's kinda ridiculous to freak out too much about this group at this point. But Akalye, do you think most people might be reluctant to join a group so open to revoltution? Maybe you should tone it down a bit questioning whether the government should be overthrown, and change the name to "Catholics For Guns" or "Catholics Againist Gun Control". Something that doesn't sound like an extremist group you know?
Socrates
Me and my Friend Michael Francis Lopez have started a Catholic/Christian militia. It's called "Saint Michael Militia of America". We are enlisting, prayer warriors and patriots. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Saint-Michael-Militia-of-America/277801632341922?ref=hl#!/pages/Saint-Michael-Militia-of-America/277801632341922 Akalyte! Good to hear from you, brother. Your group looks cool; I "liked" it on facebook. Don't let the bastages get you down. hey hey. relax! we are not some extremist group for heavens sake. We stand for protecting our rights, and the rights of the faithful in this country. sheesh and yes we are catholics for gun rights. is there something wrong with that or are we supposed to just kneel, pray and become subjects of a hostile government? we started this so the faithful in this country will have some sort of defense and helping hand if ever needed. Never mind our resident Bolshevik.
Socrates
It's like Catholics for proto-fascism. Yep. 'Cause there's nothing more fascist than the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. Just ask those filthy fascist pigs who founded our Republic. Besides, we all know that there's nothing fascist dictators love more than an armed and ready private citizenry. Just ask old Adolph. (ps. ~ calling everyone who disagrees with one's leftist opinions "fascist" is so '60s-era. Can't y'all come up with a new line of attack?) It's kinda ridiculous to freak out too much about this group at this point. But Akalye, do you think most people might be reluctant to join a group so open to revoltution? 4588686
Yep. 'Cause there's nothing more fascist than the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. Just ask those filthy fascist pigs who founded our Republic. The Framers weren't fascists. Having guns isn't fascist. Nor did I say that believing that individuals should have a right to bear arms is fascist. I believe that people and governments should be able to have some weapons. Besides, we all know that there's nothing fascist dictators love more than an armed and ready private citizenry. Just ask old Adolph. First of all, and I tire of correcting your chronic ineptitude when it comes to basic reading comprehension, I never refered to his group as fascistic. Secondly, the elements are flirting with proto-fascism (hey, I wonder there is a difference between 'fascism' and 'proto-fascism') are not the belief that people should have a right to bear arms in itself and I never said otherwise. (ps. ~ calling everyone who disagrees with one's leftist opinions "fascist" is so '60s-era. Can't y'all come up with a new line of attack?) I didn't call anybody a fascist. What's wrong with extreme? Extreme can be good or bad. You're sort of extreme, like your capacity to engage somebody's argument without either misunderstanding it or dishonestly reducing it to a strawman, is very bad. Never mind our resident Bolshevik. I'm not a Bolshevik. Edited January 8, 2013 by Hasan
