016222.jpgJust do it!   :mrt: :smile4:

Seriously.

My best friend had like your normal guy length hair, and the day he shaved his head I was beside myself. I mean, it was always fine and it was never too long, but I just love buzz cuts... Unless you have a lumpy skull. Don't get a buzz cut if you have a lumpy skull.

Side note: When I cut my hair short about a month ago, I considered shaving my head, but I was too chicken... (And my parents would never let me)

My mother would kill me if I got one, and I would never want one. I absolutely abhor buzz cuts.

And as for your side note, in my humble opinion you made a wise decision. Keep your hair long. Well beyond the shoulders.

Too late, bossy pants.

I know you already got a haircut. Just remember to not get another one until you are sixteen, and even then just take off an inch or two. As Kitty on That's 70's Show says: Length! Length is good!

My mother hates it too, but that hasn't stop me once the past 6 years or so. It's the best haircut you'll ever have! Instant dry, low maintenance and most important, no combing!

Nihil Obstat

Short hair is easier to care for and would probably make you look slightly older. Long hair gives you more flexibility with styling, but since you don't want to use any kind of hair product (despite the incontrovertible fact that not all hair products turn your hair into a greaser brick), that benefit will be lost on you. Therefore, short.

If you decide to change your slovenly ways, lately I am having excellent luck with this particular product.

This is what it looks like about an hour after showering and combing my hair.

After several hours it tends to soften out just a bit more. It's pretty soft to begin with, but as time goes on it lets your hair keep moving more or less freely, which loosens it up a bit further.

I want to look young. People already tell me that I look older than I really am, and I would like to keep it that way. My hair is just fine. It doesn't need expensive hairstyling products.

If $7 for a thing that will last me three months or more is expensive, then I must be much richer than I realized. :|

You are richer than Donald Trump, for you are in love, Mr. Styles (I have decided to call you that since you are so obsessed with hairstyles).

Fauxhawk. Always.

What's sad is my hair is more than thick and long enough to do that. I may do it one day for fun, but I would never do it for more than one day. I wouldn't want to look like a punk.

Tell him I will do that if I am either in seminary or have a girlfriend already.

I would like to add that I have no idea why. I've seen his pictures of him being shaved. It wasn't a pretty sight. :P

I think you might end up enjoying it more than you would care to admit.  And it's something that you honestly won't know how you look until you give it a try.  You might even end up liking it.
