add
Hasn't the time for a holly jolly Christmas already past? The 12 days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day (December 25) and end on January 5, eve of the traditional date of the Epiphany. so, no there is another week to go
AnneLine
R2DToo, you are right, I am well supplied with fonts. Holly-go-Lightly....into that dark night. That's what is tough about january... all the little lights (and the Holly Bushes & Christmas trees) go away..... always seems so sad...... AnneLine
Like I said, a little irritating. My poor baby Jesus avatar gets scratched when I draft PMs... but it is still a little fun, and won't be 'round forever.... it IS a cute idea, I think.... but I know, it is a little bit of a pain. I try to use it to remember to say a prayer for a blessed new year for everyone when I get a bit scratched by it.... Could be worse could be poison oak.... beautiful but oh no, NOT the way to start the new year.... Edited December 31, 2012 by AnneLine
sacredheartandbloodofjesus
Do you get scratched by oak as well?
AnneLine
Do you get scratched by oak as well? Oh, S.Heart..... poison oak is simply beautiful. Looks like fall foliage on the East Coast -- out here in California most of our trees aren't the kind that loose their leaves in winter, so beautiful red / orange/ gold leaves are a rarity... and very attractive. DO NOT bring in a 'bouquet' of the stuff. One of my aunts did that. Oh boy... Poison Oak looks beautiful. But if you are the kind of person who reacts to the oil in the pretty leaves (and most people DO react)... well, the LEAVES don't scratch... but you do..... Do a full google search if you want to see some HORROR pictures, but these will give you an idea.... and you can pass the rash from person to person, too!!!! Here's link to more info... http://www.smmtc.org/plantofthemonth/plant_of_the_month_200612_Poison_Oak.htm So... I certainly hope dUSt doesn't put any of THAT up during the summer!
