You're trying to hard. No offense. Calm down on the vibrato. Start off low and THEN go into the powerful. It's all about taking the audience in. Don't give it all you got on the first measure. No. Take it slow. Wait till apex of the song.

Oh, and DIAPHRAGM! Learn to use her. She's a beaut that will help you control your voice.

Thanks. But The Phantom of the Opera is meant to be sung powerfully all the way through. That's how every actor that played the Phantom has sung it. I'll show a video of me doing The Mirror, and I'll show softer singing on it.

Don't sing all of it softer. Did you read anything I said? DYNAMICS. That's why sheet music is a beautiful thing, and mimicking the actors always ends badly.

I didn't say you said to sing it all softly. But every Phantom sings the entire song itself powerfully and loudly. That's what I was saying. With that in mind, here is me singing The Mirror.

It's not as soft as I wanted it to be at some parts, but I'm still trying to work on softness.

Hmm you actually surprised me with your voice.....

You should really try out for American Idol or the X Factor

You had doubts about my musical magnificence? A thousand years in purgatory are now yours.

No, I didn't doubt your "musical magnificence" I just didn't realize you have a strong deep mature singing voice!

Ignorance of the musical magnificence is no excuse, I am afraid.

You have some tuning issues that could be due to you trying too hard to be loud; either that or you're trying to hide the tuning issues with volume. Also, you need to work on your diction.
