I have recently acquired a picture of Mary. It shows her, pulling her cloak back a bit to reveal her heart. On the top of the heart, there is a flame (I'm assuming that's her burning love for God). Her heart has flowers that go around it. WHAT DO THE FLOWERS REPRESENT? Please help! No one has been able to answer this, although this picture is everywhere! You can't swing a Rosary, without hitting a variation of it, yet no one seems to know what the flowers mean.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

The Flowers are a symbol of the virginal purity of our Mother Mary.

You are correct on the flames.

Peace,

Fr. Pontifex
