I'm back from my retreat...it was amazing. I have had a lot of thoughts and jewels of wisdom that came to me through the retreat master's talks, prayers and everything else combined. It will take me quite awhile to unpack it all. It has been a retreat that has solified my belief I NEED to be in Seminary even more.

Some of the highlights...
Mass, and Adoration with Archbishop Naumann.
Adoration and Lunch with the Sister Servants of Mary. ( a wonderful order of women who have a beautiful piety, I highly recommend this order to anyone wanting to work with the sick).
Getting time to talk, reflect and socialize with the Seminarians of the Archdioces and other men discerning their possible Vocation to the Priesthood.

Getting to meet one on one with the Archbishop ( he only had time for 9 individual meetings and I got one...:) )

So where does that leave me today? Well I'm going to go back to school for a Semester and resubmit my application, probably go on a visit or two to the Seminaries. Providing all goes well next Fall I will be beginning starting the formation process.

I am so excited and motivate, my biggest problem right now is the patience to let it all happen in the Lord's god timing and not my own.

Thank-You for everyone who was praying for me.

Ha- props are back. Wonderful news for you!!!

Wonderful for me because props are back, or because I had an AWESOME retreat? Or both?

Thank you for posting this, it sounds like it was wonderful. Deo Gratias!

There is just something amazing about 45 guys all discerning a priestly vocation together, praying and singing the ordinaries of the mass together with just voices, growing in love for Christ's Bride, the Church.

Currently my Archdioces uses Conception, Glennon/Kenrick, Mundelein, and the North American College in Rome. So I don't think CO or MI are really options...
