Sick

Please say a prayer for me. I think I have the flu. There are no substitutes available (very few people are willing to work even for a day in a school district as screwed up as this one) so if I call in sick my kids will be split up among the other 1st grade teachers ... giving each an extra 6 kids or so, bringing their class sizes up to like 32.

 

In other words ... I have to go to work.  This job usually takes everything I've got when I am at 100%. So yeah. Apprehensive to say the least. Please pray ... and consider sending your guardian angel to me.
