This is an email and photos that I received from Sister Faith after her clothing ceremony

Hi Darlene

Thank you so much for the flowers, they are beautiful. As it was Our Lady's special feast, and as there are almost no flowers in the garden at this time of year to pick, I asked that they go in the antechoir this time, in front of the lovely statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I had some photos taken especially so you could see them, but as the light there wasn't too great, we took some in other parts of the house as well. It became a bit of a game by the end so some are a bit silly!!!

I had a lovely day and was spoilt rotten - we even had curry for dinner, my all time favourite food! It was very hot too so I know it was a real penance for some of the community - shows how much they love me, eh???? ;-) By the time I said my little bit in the ceremony, all my nerves had dissipated and I was completely calm and composed - amazing after a very, very difficult and emotional retreat. The thanksgiving mass was wonderful too. My priest friend whose ordination I attended last year came to celebrate the mass and spoke very powerfully. He could not have preached a more Catholic homily had he tried and I wasn't too sure how my very protestant family would react, but they were very impressed (with the exception of baby Joshua who was hungry!). The parlour afterwards was also lovely but quite a whirlwind and I feel like I barely had a chance to talk to most people for more than a couple of minutes which was a bit of a shame. I am now busy trying to get all my thank-you letters written before I get back into the full horarium tomorrow.

Its still rather chaotic here as our oldest, 98yr old sister died on Sunday and her funeral is this afternoon which is extremely fast for the UK. I am so thankful that I was able to see her after my Clothing on Saturday when although extremely weak she was still aware of what was going on and smiled and nodded approval when told my name. May she rest in peace.

I have attached some photos from Saturday, some of them are pretty terrible - I am not remotely photogenic! But feel free to share any you might want to. Take care and God bless - I am now plunging back into the silence of advent and will not be online again until after Christmas!

Lots of love

Thank you so much for uploading the letter and pictures.

She is glowing (and I think we have now discovered who are those nuns in yellow habits from the first one! ;) )

I am SO happy for her.   Give her all of our love....
