Pointless, But Intriguing, Question

Ok. There is really no REAL relevance to this question. and most people will prolly think im just wasting time. But when Jesus returns, as is promised in Scripture, in a physical body (and really, i guess, the physical body he retains in Heaven) what DNA will he have? will the DNA of that body have identical DNA to the body He had during his original tour on earth? And in asking this, i am well aware that this question can probably not be answered for real, and that it has no real relevance to anyone's spritual journey, but i thought it might be interesting to talk about anyway.

WildCatRupe,

Don't worry; you've really got to throw a doozy at me to make me think something is a stupid question.

This really is something interesting, and unfortunately, there is no solid answer to it. The body which Jesus has right now (at the right hand of the Father) is a glorified body; it's what we'll all have after the general resurrection. Problem is, in order to know what a glorified body is like in its totality, we have to have one - the only way to get one is to die. Since we've never died, we can't know a whole heck of a lot about our glorified state. Hope this doesn't sound like I'm blowing you off, but it's the best answer I have. :P

Yours,
Pio Nono
