AnneLine
Humph! My eagle did not land a few days ago. (It was during the time Phatmass was acting so odd... so I think the Eagles looked for a safer home....) Let's try again!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hecXupPpE9o

AnneLine
Eagle eye, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I was going to give you an Eagle WEBCAM for Christmas... until I realized it won't be back until this spring. BUT, you absolutely can use it then. Looks like the cam gets active in mid March thru Fall.... You can try the 'watch live' part now -- I think it is on, but it is just cold and black right now... it is the mddle of the night! We'll have to check in the morning!!!! Who operates and maintains this eagle cam? The Raptor Resource Project maintains the cams, of which there are two. The feed is streamed online 24/7. Both are positioned on one of the nest’s supporting limbs about 4-5 feet above the nest. The main cam is automated and is trained on the nest. The other cam has pan-tilt-zoom capabilities. At dark the main cam switches to infrared (invisible to the eagles) night-time view Here's more info till later in the season... and a few links to videos, etc..... and do try clicking on the cam itself... http://blog.nwf.org/2012/02/eagle-cam-is-back-watch-iowa-bald-eagle-eggs-hatching-live/ Let's come back & watch the Webcam in the spring!
