Kateri89
I've never seen a nun's veil quite so long...in any case they look like a beautiful order!
carmenchristi
Wow they must have strong necks to carry that around! It's beautiful though. Not sure I'd want one, but it's beautiful.
EmilyAnn
We had a PMer enter there in September. Their veils really are incredible. Apparently the material is very, very thin so they are not heavy.
Lil'Nun
Wow. Ages 12 to 18. First vocational retreat I have seen that is designed for 12-year-olds. Is this unusual?

Gemma
That length is traditional and is coming in vogue for new communities. Blessings, Gemma
nikita92
Lil'Nun..I was wondering that myself! One Im sure get's creative..on keeping it from getting in the way...such as bending over....sitting down etc. I wonder what kind of fabric is known for it's lightness..seeing how there is so much of it?! It is truely regal! If I had a choice of long, over super super short...I would most def opt for this one!! Please pass the Tylenol while your at it Thank you! :-)

Winchester
So is this a veil for the longest nun, or the longest veil for a nun?

nikita92
Im also curious about her metal pendant. I think Mother Angelica's community postulants wear the exact same one, near as I can tell.
OnlySunshine
Im also curious about her metal pendant. I think Mother Angelica's community postulants wear the exact same one, near as I can tell. I love the large Miraculous Medal that the Professed Sisters wear. I have a small one that I wear on a daily basis and I had it blessed by my pastor. I thought I had it blessed when I made my first Consecration to the Immaculate on 12/8/09 but I realized I had not. This Miraculous Medal is so special to me because it reminds me of my Consecration AND reminds me that my Mama is praying for me always. I just love her!
