OnlySunshine
Although I have never read it, I've heard this book is really good: Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience by Mother Mary Francis, PCC I loved her book called "A Right to be Merry" so I suspect this is just as good if not better. :)
Kateri89
"And You Are Christ's" - Fr. Thomas Dubay. I still haven't read the book all the way through but from what I have read, he talks about what the vows truly mean. The Nashville Dominicans suggested that I read it if I was considering a religious vocation.

It's really great in that though it's written for those discerning the vocation it's also really well written for those who know someone who is living the vocation but they don't understand it. In regards to celibacy I would also recommend Being Sexual...and Celibate by Fr. Keith Clark OFM Cap. This one is a bit more nitty gritty compared to ...And You Are Christ's but it really helped me in a lot of ways. JMJ+

I started it awhile ago and I think that will be my reading material after Christmas. "And You Are Christ's" - Fr. Thomas Dubay.
