Christmas Cards?

Is it okay to send "your" sisters Christmas cards? I know that they're probably not allowed to keep them, but it's okay to send them, right?

Yep, and if you write your personal note and stuff on a separate piece of paper, the sisters can choose to reuse the card.

That's a good idea.

I found a card in our card box with that image ^^ on it. It's a copy of a papercutting by a guy named Dan Paulson. I saw it and thought, "OOH! Perfect card to send to my sisters!"

Turns out that Dan Paulson also designed the DSMME logo.

I didn't know that when I found that card.

:smile3:

I know "my" Sisters save the cards that they get and then they reuse them by cutting out images and such from them to make thank-you notes and such during the year. So getting cards is great for them.

I used cardstore.com and sent cards to my two priests, my community's Provincial Superior, and my friend (Sr. Mary Elizabeth).  I love that website because it makes mailing cards out much easier and you can set the date they go out.  Mine will be at their addresses by 12/17.  :)
