Kateri89
I've always wondered about the joy we experience if by God's grace and mercy, we make it to Heaven. The Bible says that there will be no more sorrow and that God will wipe away our tears but I'm curious about one thing: If I am blessed to spend eternity in Heaven and some of my loved ones are not, won't I feel sorrow over the loss of their souls? Theoketos
It is good that you struggle with this now. But when this life is over and our will is fixed in Heaven, all we will do is love God. There will only be rejoice in Heaven. The loss of those in Heaven will be counted and understood in terms of God's good justice. We can hope, because we cannot judge others and God has not said any one is, that none are in Hell. It is my hope. It is reasonable to suspect though that because the road is easy for Hell and few are saved according to our Lord that many many many souls fall into Hell. For further reading I suggest C.S.
