cartermia
When you were just Confirmed and then you get to take the Body and Blood of Christ and your heart is about to jump out of your chest because you are so happy! :dance5: Also when the bishop kind of just looks at you for a second after your sponsor had told him your Confirmation name (John Paul II). After Confirmation when you are taking pictures with the bishop he remembers you from 2 years ago (when you kinda fell in front of him serving. :nun2: :nun2: :nun2:

Spem in alium
when you cry during Mass. Oh my gosh, someone else does that?! Last night's Mass was such a beautifully new experience. I spent most of the time staring at the tabernacle or tearing up. Edited April 29, 2013 by Spem in alium
ToJesusMyHeart
I've also been being sporadically filled with great joy about my future recently. It just comes out of nowhere and BAM! I get the urge to twirl around! :)

ToJesusMyHeart
Why are you so annoyed by my happiness, DC? I thought we were supposed to be supportive of each other on this phorum? Why are you trying to make me feel guilty for having joy?
DiscerningCatholic
GPOY means "gratuitous picture of yourself"...I.E. that's exactly how I feel/what I do/how I look/etc... I'm responsible for what I say; not for what you understand. Edited April 29, 2013 by DiscerningCatholic
ToJesusMyHeart
GPOY means "gratuitous picture of yourself"...I.E. that's exactly how I feel/what I do/how I look/etc... Oh, dear. I sincerely apologize then. I was told that it meant something much different. Acronyms aren't always good things. I remember when I had to explain "LOL" and "BRB" to my mother. Now you teens are explaining acronyms to me. I hope you will forgive my misunderstanding! :) Pax Christi. p.s. and congrats on your plane ticket!
