I think I just won the game.

Also, you just lost it.

We have needed one of these for a while. A place to talk games, comics, movies, superheros, Star Trek, The likeliness of another Firefly Season, The Matrix other SciFi greatness. Show nerdy things we found online. Share High scores, friend codes, Critique each others noble attempts to publish something, in a helpful way. I thought it would be cool to have pix of us being geeky with our friends. Just stuff in general.
I think I have the right thing to start us off.

Dang, I am also voted out of the prop market.... GRRRRRR

Still think ARFink and BG have you, Brian. Mind-boggling.

I remember when the webmaster at my last job informed me very solemnly that I was being officially promoted to 'Geek' because I had helped him to beta test our website... and figured out what wasn't working when he was not aware of why something odd was going on....

'Twas a sweet moment for this lit major.... especially coming from a Math and CS professor....

True.... and his profession is looking up!

He's Brianthephysicist, not Briantheastronomer.

Speaking of which, at my university there is a Physics and Astronomy Students Association. On the door to their office they have a sign that says "Psychics and Astrologers Association". I lol'd a bit.

Nihil, you are absolutely right - probably should have said  his profession is looking all around into, out of, over and through......

Too funny about the Physicists/Astronomervs Psychics/Astrolgers thing.... happens all the time!

And I think we can officially classify you as 'Ancient Geek'

You don't have to hang with the nerds....

I actually got a 7805 to completely melt down into a puddle of molten plastic and disconnect the bond wires from the silicon die, it got that hot! It was actually kinda freaky.
