[url="http://www.catholicnewworld.com/cnwonline/2012/1104/5.aspx"]http://www.catholicn...012/1104/5.aspx[/url] was very happy to run into this! :) It's basically just a short profile of each, but still very cool that they were highlighted for Pro Orantibus Day (forgot all about that this year)

[i]awe[/i]some that Des Plaines Carmel has 18 now and new postulants! their monastery is architecturally on the modern side, but not the community :like:
emmaberry, there are a couple pictures from Palos Park, yay!!! :nun2:

I used to live 2 suburbs over from the Monastery in Des Plaines. Yes, it's a bit modern for my taste, but the Sisters were anything but.
