OnlySunshine
Please offer your prayers for my cousin, H., who is at the hospital right now after suffering a seizure last night. The doctors performed a CT scan of her head and discovered fluid on her brain and a tumor. It is not known if the tumor is malignant or benign. My cousin is only 25 years old so this has everyone panicked -- especially my cousin's parents and husband. More tests are going to have to be performed before the doctors know what course of action to take. It's likely they will need to be very aggressive as brain tumors grow rapidly. Please pray for my cousin's healing and for the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to inspire the doctors treating her so they know exactly what to do. Also, please pray for us to be able to trust God in this. O great St. Peregrine, you who have called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker" because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you, you who for so many years bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more; you who were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to you. (Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick persons for whom you are praying.) Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sings to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen. Edited November 23, 2012 by MaterMisericordiae
