When Your Thanksgiving Stinks...try This.

So I work for Wal-Mart and just like last year and many years before that I will be working Thanksgiving. Since I live several hours away from any family and combined with deployments I have only been able to spend Thanksgiving with my family once over the last 8 years. It kinda stinks. So if you are like me and need a reminder when your Thanksgiving try this.

Last year one of my Managers and I were sitting in our break room having our Thanksgiving Dinner (I appreciate that our Store cooks and serves a Turkey dinner all day for associates who have to work). We decided to start telling each other about our absolutely WORST Thanksgiving memories ever. Sometimes remembering how bad things can be can still cheer us up when we are not in the ideal situation.

For those who will be with friends and family enjoy it, for those who won'tI'm sure you can still find a way to enjoy it.

One last note I wish to thank all of my Pham for being here over the years, and I will be praying for everyone specifically on Thanksgiving as the slow business will give me time for lots of rosaries.
