Prayers Needed Again -- Follow Up

Hi Phamily:

I just met with the priest at the parish ... I am (for now) not leaving the parish. I got an apology for something that happened (he had not put two+two together until I said it, and he reacted and acted before understanding the full situation). Pray for him to continue to be a wise shepherd of our parish.

Please pray for me ... the past few months have been difficult emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I need to have a difficult conversation with someone, but I need to first really forgive and calm down about it (it affected me ministry wise, and was the main reason why I was about to leave the parish).

I've been asked to step away from a particular group at the parish at least until it is restarted; pray for my obedience to that (I'm ok with this). There is a meeting with the diocese in about a week and a half where I do need to attend (I spoke up truthfully about the problems in the group, which has resulted in chaos and change).

Finally -- I am still considering changing spiritual directors. However, I do feel better after this meeting. I think the change is needed so that I have a healthy separation between ministry/parish and spiritual direction (the priest at my parish is my current spiritual director).

Thanks for the prayers ... I really needed them this morning. The conversation was intense, but very blessed.
