Right back atchya.

Do not listen to this foolish advice, FP. Truuuuuusssst me. You don't need baby-butt skin, but you DO need to not have dry itchy flaky skin. Dry flaky skin is not attractive.
Will do.

I didn't learn how important shaving well is untill my mid-20s, so let me pass on some hard earned knowledge. Shaving well will mark you as a man among men, those who know of such things will recognize your skill, those who don't are little plebeians. Shaving correctly will help your skin be healthy check out these site for more information on your general information...

Regarding scenting yourself, a conscious man will remember that even manly scent go in seasons, if you remember it like this you will do ok...go in opposite to the temperature outside, when it is cold you can wear hotter heavier scents as cool air usually make the nose less sensitive (still don't over do the application), you don't want to be wearing a heavily scented musk on a jot sweaty summer day so as the temperature increases you cologne and/or aftershave should become lighter in it's scent tones, sweeter more botanical in nature.

And since we are helping you along in the dating scene here is one last one that may be helpful.

I may not be in the game anymore, but that doesn't mean I never played.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned mouthwash since you are afraid of bad breath.Listerine is a killer but I ilke it - the blue kind.

And even though everyone tells you to be yourself, try not to focus too much on yourself, but on the person you are with - its much more attractive.

And really FP, change that Avatar.
I'll take that into account, though I hate mouthwash. The burning is pretty intense.

Of course. A piece of dating advice I actually learned from the seminary (Of all places to learn dating advice) is to lead the conversation and make sure most of it is on her. Ask her questions about her frequently, talk about what she likes, etc, and make sure we don't talk about me too much.

Ha. I'm working on it!

And thank you for the advice.

Well here is what I look for in a guy:

- Devout Catholic :like:
- Strong and manly (meaning I don't want the guy to be all meek, but I don't want him to be bossy, I want him to be mocho but also kind, also you shouldn't give into everything the girl your dating says, and you should pay for movie tickets, dinner etc. because it shows a form of authority, and support. If you don't want to pay then you can get together at either ones house.)
- Good hygenie (this means combing your hair, using deoderant, brushing your teeth, acne I'm so-so on but if you can find good cream etc. it would be nice, maybe a bit of cologne...etc.)
- Well dressed (I can't STAND "sagging", and guys who wear gym shorts all the time are crossed off of my list ;) )

Edit: had to add a few things

I have everything except I may fail the clothing part. All I have are T-shirts and jeans. No shorts, though. What do you mean about giving into everything the girl I'm dating says, though?

You'd better get started on this part now. If your jeans are relatively nice jeans, you can dress them up with a slightly casual button-up shirt. Sweater vests are good if it's not too hot.
When you have the opportunity, start to upgrade to slacks with your button up shirts. You can pair that with a tie when you want to. At that point you're basically at business casual, which makes the ladies swoon. :|

They are pretty nice, and I have found button-down shirts work okay with them. Plus, that's an extremely popular look around here because this is cowboy country, and other than a cowboy hat and boots with a huge belt buckle, that is pretty much what they wear.

That sounds like Calgary in July. :hehe: That is a decent look. It isn't necessarily a "first date" look though.

I worded it incorrectly... sorry. :paperbag: Didn't notice that mistake. :hehe:

Don't let her rule your life. Married women do that :P not the girl you're dating.

I see. So basically, when she asks me to do something go "Wom'n, you don't own me! Now make me a sandwich!"?

Basically what I outlined above, IMO. For someone in your situation, at least. Depending on the situation you would want to go with the jeans or the slacks, but at the very least a button up with a good collar.

All I have for that situation is a suit minus the jacket and tie, but I don't like how the pants look on me.

It may be that you have to look around a bit to find a fit that works for you. Plus if you have a few inches left to grow that does change things as well.
