I like 1911s, but I think I like the idea of them more than the gun itself. :smile3: I get the whole capacity vs. calibre debate, and I do not want to get into that at all because I am highly overmatched, but it seems like a pretty painful tradeoff to take 7+1 .45acp rounds rather than 15-20 in 9mm parabellum. :P
If I wanted to carry .45acp, I would probably be looking into a Springfield XDM.

One of the biggest reasons I am ok with moving to the US in a few more years is that I will be able to carry firearms. :P

I think you chose the wrong presidential term if you want to carry around firearms. :hehe:

Eh, we will see how it goes I guess. :hehe: Is that not more within the prerogative of the individual state?

In any case, in terms of carrying it cannot get any more restrictive than Canada.

I hear Wales is about as terrible as it gets for gun control. They aren't even allowed to own handguns.

True, I guess it does get worse than Canada. :smile3:
There is no place in the US more restrictive in terms of carrying than Canada is though. There are a couple places that are close to the same, specifically New York and Chicago, I think, but it really is hard to get more restrictive. :hehe:

I hope you know that most muslims don't bomb things and that "holy" and "war" never show up next to each other in the Qu'ran. It's an incredibly stupid thing to say, especially on a Catholic forum, even if you are joking (and if you are joking it is in incredibly bad taste).
