Fundamentally, it's about the human nature of wanting to live in a community. If you want to live in a community and enjoy the benefits of living in a community, you will have to consider the costs to your ability to live completely selfishly.

Why do you deserve my money for what you think is your right for a fair shake at college? I didn't get go go to college! I didn't have the opportunity for a free two year ride for anything! I had to go to work and earn my [mod]Language --franciscanheart[/mod]. I had family medical issues that weren't paid for by others and had to sacrifice cars, clothes, good, fun, to pay for body braces and ex rays. I had to skip meals, work more hours, do without to have what I have now, to have the skills and experience to make more than ten dollars an hour and I OWE it to you? I'll have to work until I die because I get taxed do much I have no other option.

I used to have affordable insurance that covered me, my wife, and daughter up to $2mill each if us. Low deduct, etc. 2 years later I have to pay More than twice for just my wife and I and can't afford coverage for my daughter who has pre/existing medical issues. I have to have unlimited coverage in my wife and I because the Government said so. I can't choose to insure just my daughter because the Government said so. I now have a $7,500 deductible because of paying for unlimited benefits I can't afford. I can't pick my Doctor because everyone has to be in a network because the system is now so [mod]Language --franciscanheart[/mod] up there's a half dozen clerks to handle the paperwork for a checkup an flu shot.

Sorry about your luck, blame God and go ask your church for money, please stop stealing mine because you think you're morally justified.

I read on a thread that FP created that another PM'er got an AA degree for next to nothing due to Pell. I know there have got to be other people here who've filled out a FAFSA.

I just don't think it's a bad program.

Props to the good Admiral for not laughing right in that guy's face. I've seen that a couple of times, and I still laugh (even knowing what's coming). I can't imagine sitting there hearing that for the first time live.

[/quote]Yes. I did it for years for my two daughters. It's how the determined your tuition rate and report demographics. Florida also has substantial Bright Futures Scholarships paid for by Lottery money. Pretty much if you have a 3.5 GPA your tuition is free

That's because you haven't apprehended you and the modern American Liberals share a love of an all-encompassing state. You just differ on some of the things the jackbooted thugs should enforce with the gun.

As a resident of the state of Florida currently attending a state university in Florida, I can attest that this is not even close to true [any more].

I graduated high school with a 4.whatever (who cares about high school GPAs), and have maintained at least the GPA you state throughout all of my college terms, and I have owed money to the university each semester that I have been enrolled as a student.

[/quote]It is sad how they keep rolling it back. Mt kids are done so I don't know the exact current status. Do you owe for tuition, or for books, fees, and living expenses? It never paid for living expenses or books.
