Ha ha. I am personally proud of some of the sappy things I have said. During the Rosary last night I was admittedly not paying attention very well as my thoughts were on Emily, and during the second and third decades I skipped a bead, so I always finished it one bead early and I had to go back. During the Glory Be I thought it was rather clever when I said "Emily makes me skip a Rosary bead." in relation to skipping a heartbeat.

Anyway, aside from being terribly sappy, thank you for the advice. Sadly she is three hours away so all of our interaction must be through Facebook chat. However, I was talking to her today and I think it is going well. I asked her things about herself, took an interest in her, and at one point she said that if I was ever in her town to let her know so we can see each other.

Uh... I'd rather not. First off, I wouldn't want her to be tortured in the first place, but you wouldn't because she really is the nicest person I've ever met. And second, some of my worst moments are on this site, and I don't want her to see them.

Get to know her. Be her friend. Play the long game. It's more fulfilling and it breeds healthier relationships.
