Local Post-sandy Disasters

Please play for our neighbors and family. Here in Ohio we got the back end of Sandy, but the electric companies had sent all their crews out East in anticipation of the storm. It was good of them to want to help out New Jersey, but it turned out the combination of Sandy + Lake Ere resulted in hundreds of thousands of people being without power back home in northeast Ohio.

So we had to wait for relief crews to come in from Illinois.

The home I share with my husband did not lose power but most of our neighborhood did, as did the homes of many of our family members in other lakeside cities. They are going into the weekend without power and the latest update is they will not have it back on for everyone until next week. It has been chilly all week and it is supposed to get down into the 30s this weekend and the 20s on Monday. Please pray the crews can work quicker (but still safely) to get the power back on.
