Massacre At San Fernando

This is theculturewarrior, stopping by briefly to tell you about the martyrdom of many holy people. Unfortunately I lost access to my account. There is a civil war in Mexico right now. They call it a Drug War but it is much worse than that. San Fernando was a small town on a highway between two large cities in the Northeastern part of the country. It is probably a ghost town now. A lot of people used to pass through that way as well as a lot of drugs. It was in 2010 I believe that mass graves were discovered. Hundreds of people were taken off the buses and given a choice to serve those murderers or to die. It would seem that most of them chose death. I only know about this because at least one survivor lived to tell the story to the news. I suspect that great saints sanctified the earth with their blood, and I hope one day to return to San Fernando to feel its dirt in my hands. Please pray for the people that died there, that these holy men and women never be forgotten, for the survivors of that atrocity, for their widows and orphans, and for peace in Mexico

Mexico is in my prayers as well as these people who gave their lives for Good. It makes me sad often times to think about the current state of Mexico and how so many people don't realize how bad the situation is. Many prayers!
