My Dad Is Coming Back To The Faith.

He's going to Mass and asks me to pray for him. He NEVER asked me to pray for him. He was so hostile toward me when I converted and now he's reading books on the saints and just gobbling up everything Catholic (He told me to pray a rosary the other day when I was afraid of something, so cute!) It's really quite beautiful because I never believed it could happen. I had many people praying for him as I was undergoing terrible persecutions from him...never underestimate the power of prayer.

PS- this all began after he was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He is fine now, but still. Sickness truly has a way of making you realize how small you are and how big God is. Although I am not happy that he was sick, I am in awe to see how transforming suffering can be.

If you can pray for an even fuller conversion, that would be great. I see him reading books on confession. He is not one to share many things with me, but I believe he may be preparing for it. Please pray for strength and perseverance for him, especially through the intercession of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, whom he loves. His name is Michael. Thank you!
