And I have really enjoyed readin posts from Qfnol and anomaly. So I'm really not trying to gang up on anyone. The difference between talking with them and talking with others (particularly Freedom and Ironmonk) is that they have throughout the whole thing made it abundantly clear that while they disagreed with us, they didnt condemn us.

Yay! Someone read me! :)

I write so much sometimes I wonder....

That's scary. Every time my mom wants to send me an email she asks me for my handle. I've used the same name for fourteen years straight now.

and you probably don't remember but when I first came here you used to help me learn Latin. So it's not like you're just some random screen name.

I remember when I learned qfnol's screen name. I never learned to remember the number at the end of it, and I much prefer to just call him Q and picture him as the star-trek character, but I do recall years ago when I had to learn to remember it.

LOL. Thanks. (I don't ascribe to afterlife condemnation, so I don't flail it about) but I do think some people are idiotically blinded by bias and lack of applied intellect. It usually occurs to me why I so readily recognize their stupidity before I click ADD REPLY, so yeat, it does often seem like I'm sorta polite.

But I also consider the motives of the rude posters before I take offense to their style. I have a HUGE amount of respect for Ironmonk, despite his ability to piss off the Dahli Llama in less than 5 seconds. I like his passion. I also like Freedom's passion and commitment. I think it's similar to Winchesters, Era's, Aly, Soc's, and others. She hasn't been here enough for me to get to know her better, but she's human, and she was poked alot without having the benefit of knowing the tone or personality of the people giving her a hard time. Personally, I find sincere passion with the intent to do something good lets me overlook the caustic way they come accross. Most posters here think they get their message accross by denigrating, demeaning, and tearing down the opposing ideas, people, institutions, concepts. I get you have to call a spade a spade, but we all have our biases.

It's ironic that people are all up in arms about the little slights and offenses when challenged for voting for third parties or even voting for Obama, when on the other hand, the vast majority of posts are ripping up Romney. For every Ironmonk and Freedom clumsily supporting Romney and Republicans as their opinion to be the best strategic support to stop or reverse a pro-abortion political agenda, there's 15 PM'ers who rip Romney and Republicans up as persons who personally wants to shoot Iranian kids, strangle homeless people, and give 'Sorry about your bad luck' card to cancer victims. It's really hard for me to give the same benefit of the doubt and keep the same standard for people you think agree with you and people you think disagree with you.

An I really being rude? Because if I am, I really don't see it. I spent more than a half hour on some posts trying to make sure that nothing was even slightly rude or implying that Romney supporters were evil. I don't think they are. I think Romney is evil. But not people voting for him.

Idi Amin was evil. I don't think that its fair to call either Barak or Romney evil. Uncharitable, probably. Rude, maybe.

Yes, child care 101. People arent bad. They do bad things. So, Ok. I think they do evil things. But I don't think those voting for him are doing something evil. Poor word choice on my part.

But all my posts here you think have been uncharitable or rude?

I'm old and have a short memory. No way to judge them all. I highly doubt even a significant amount of your posts would be uncharitable or rude. I would guess, you're probably nicer than me.

Your post was an easy way for me to make a point to anyone labeling Romeny or Obama as evil. Thanks for being a convenient pawn; I'm heartless, cold, opportunistic, and conniving (hidden behind a facade of polite charity). :hehe2:

Well I'm stubborn and have quite a temper. So when I spend a good portion of my day trying to make sure that what I say is rational and not based on emotions, it frustrates me to learn that several people claim that it is all emotional or uncharitable or whatever.

So... There's that. Haha
