TheMissionary
Snakes are cool, I saw my first snake when I went to Indonesia recently ( we don't have them in my country) and it was huge could easily have eaten me I think. Anyway i'm scared of Large spiders (small ones I can handle) ( large creepie crawlies in general) and heights although they're not really phobias more healthy fears. I am phobic about calling people on telephones, go figure!

BeenaBobba
As a 17 year old I am embrassed to say I still have a night light in my room.
Haha. Don't feel bad; I'm not crazy about the dark, either. More often than not, I sleep with the TV on mute and the VCR on, which gives the screen this constant blue light -- just to get some light in the room. LOL. Yeah, one of the drawbacks of liking to write is that writers tend to have active imaginations. Too active imaginations, perhaps, which is why I'd rather be able to see what's going on in a room when I open my eyes. BeenaBobba
snakes... I dont do snakes... Not even in the pet store. Never. I just dont do snakes.
You know, I was bitten by a snake once. It wasn't poisonous, but it still freaked me out. I used to work at PETCO, and one of the Chinese Garter snakes kept escaping from his (or her) habitat. (We later found out that there was a small hole in the back through which it'd escaped.) Well, I was working at the register, and I saw the snake had escaped and was writhing underneath the shopping carriages. I didn't want him to get ran over by the wheels of the carriages, and neither did I want any customers to get freaked out or bitten, so I tried my best to pick him up myself. I was like, "Dude, I watch The Crocodile Hunter; don't worry!" Foolishly thinking that I knew what I was doing, I walked over to the carriages and picked the snake up by his tail. He started to swing his body around, and everything seemed like it was in slow motion. I saw his mouth open (which really freaked me out, by the way), and I knew he was going to forgive my unpleasant disposition. A split second later, my thumb joint was lodged in his mouth. He actually held on for a few seconds (and yes, it was very freaky), and I flung him to the floor instinctively. Haha. So many people were looking at me. It was actually sort of funny. The snake and I were both fine. His little teeth were sharp, and I bled for a little bit, but he left no more than small scratches. He was one mean son of a gun, though.
