Understanding The 'dark Passages' Of Scripture

I haven't read the whole series to date (there will be more in the series) but I do like Jimmy Akin (apoloogist, Catholic Answers) as it seems to me that he has much knowledge and writes it simply so ordinary people can understand. I will be printing out the series to date tonight for myself and begin reading I hope with concentration and some understanding anyway - I have only skimmed one article in the series. The comments at the end of each of Akin's entries, can at times also give 'food for thought'.
