It will take her about a week and some ice cream. And the next time she sees you she won't say anything, but she will continuously glare at you... that could make Mass really fun if being friends doesn't work out. Nihil Obstat
On that note, after attending the traditional Mass nearly exclusively for over a year and a half now, it is extremely jarring to me to see female altar servers, and un-vested people in the sanctuary. dUSt
If she acts like it is more of a conquest of getting me rather than simply becoming friends I will simply tell her I'm not interested in that, and hopefully she won't take it too hard.
If you were anything like me, she will take it hard, and will probably be ruined for the rest of her life, because no other man she will ever meet will compare. This is the harsh reality she will be facing. You will learn, and someday, you will know that my advice was sound. Some men are simply cursed with too much desirability to simply remain friends with any woman. That is why I have my wife, and ignore every other female on earth. Friendship is not an option--not by my choice--but by their inability to control their natural attraction to me.

I like to make those jokes but then I also like to make sure everyone knows I'm not serious, which is important if you don't want women to hate you. I should have picked better friends. I regret that.

I doubt FP is looking for advice from us-- just conversation.
