Annie12
So, is there a spiritual aspect of deja vu? Like, does it go deeper than just feeling like you are reliving an event? Because I get deja vu ALL the time. It's starting to weird me out big time. Does the Church say anything about deja vu?
Slappo
deja vu is psychological not spiritual.
Nihil Obstat
deja vu is psychological not spiritual.
Inclined to agree, with some reservation. It does not seem to me to be out of question that certain broadly mystical spiritual experiences might be interpreted as having elements of deja vu. For instance, if one were to experience some kind of spiritual vision, their spiritual reaction on a subconscious level might 'feel' similar to deja vu. I am not a mystic though, so take that for what it is worth.
PadrePioOfPietrelcino
I rarely experience déjà vu, or remember my dreams and for me it usually. Goes together...I spend time thinking about the experience when it happens because I generally find a kernel of truth hidden in there. I'm not saying it is truly spiritual inherently, but I believe all life is spiritual if we allow it to be.
