FuturePriest, I can't believe all the criticism you're taking! I believe in good criticism--but I think perhaps it could be more gentle, and offered more as a suggestion and not as a demand or order.

Personally, I think your last but one photo is great (I mean the one you prefer)--blurry or not! You are smiling and standing straight. Good job!

I'm a little curious to know why you are going to wear a cassock at your sister's wedding--as I don't remember you being a seminarian yet. Perhaps it is for serving?

Dude, are you good enough with the ol' Photoshops to do that up as a papal cassock?

Broad shoulders and an incredible sense of humour is mandatory in the Phatmass survival kit.

Don't worry about it. The criticism doesn't sting much. It did at first, but I have come to enjoy the criticism. It is humbling, something which I need if I want to become a Priest. So at first when I came here a year ago I hated it, but I have found it to be a blessing in disguise. God wants me to go through it, otherwise I never would have made it a year. Despite what some may consider to be harsh criticism that I take, I really love being here and I love all of the people here. I really don't think twice about it anymore, to be honest.

I'm wearing it for the wedding itself. That is, for the wedding Mass. I have the honor of being the only altar server, and I get the privilege to serve with a Benedictine Priest. Before then I am going to be an usher, and after that I will of course be at the main table and everything at the reception, but for the wedding itself I am wearing a cassock with a surplice.

Edit: To add to the first paragraph, when you mention that things appear to be a demand or an order, if this is true then that is good. It teaches obedience, another virtue which I need to become a Priest, and then of course onwards to becoming a Bishop!

I think you chose this one because it makes me look fat. :|

I'm joking of course. Cassocks just have a way of widening out your mid-section. In reality I'm skinny as a rail. I'm 5'4 and 116 pounds.

Really? Probably because of the position of my arms. I asked my sister what she wanted me to do with them, but she just said to let them hang.

You're not going to fold me in half several times like those demented Japanese samurai, are you?

I will. The first cassock I had actually had a cloth belt attached to it and I was confused when this one didn't. I don't see the sense in getting a sash yet since it's not even my cassock, though.
