We do have a halloween celebration planned.. but if weather or other things delay it... perhaps we can do it again on Sat night?

Or you could just do it Wednesday and Saturday just for kicks. I'll see if I can find me a costume!

I think that is a good idea, Chrys.... 'cause when everyone gets the lights back on and the water drained, they are going to be ready to PARTY!

OK... If there is interest we can PARTY again tonight!!! And... since it is SOMEBODY's PhatBirthday (hint, hint) I like the idea of a party...! :)

A few days ago Chrysophlax and BG said they might come hang out -- and maybe some of the rest of you have the power back on by now!

This could change, but for now I can be around between about 6-7 or 8 and 9 Pacific time and about 10:30-11:30 Pacific time.... Good chance ONE of those times won't work, but I don't know which one at this point.

Wear (post?) your favorite saint's costume (or your scariest one to scare away all those Evil Spirits!) and we'll have a good time!!!!!

You don't have to stay the whole time - just check in & out. It was fun on Halloween!!!!!

Well.. tested the no crust pie on my husband, and he has gone off to work a happy man! It is AMAZING!!!

However, we ate the rest of the beef stew-brains stuff for lunch before the pie. We are happy Phat eaters!!

So... tonight.... I'm going to cook some rosemary chicken! Butterfly the chicken (split lthem down the back remove the backbone (goolish enough for Halloween!!!) and flatten them out so the legs and wings fold up nicely and the bird if pretty flat. Rub on a little olive oil as 'suntan lotion', gently let them get all comortable on a bed of fresth rosemary... and sprinkle a little salt & pepper on them... maybe a squeeze or two of lemon juice..... Pour about a cup of water in the bottom of the pan (so your oven won't go up in smoke.. .and roast in a 400 degree oven until done about 35 - 55 mins depending on size of bird. MMMMMMMMMMM....

This is a GREAT company dish, by the way... .easy and looks IMPRESSIVE. You tuck some more fresh rosemary around the bird for decoration, by the way...

Think will have with some spinach and maybe some sweet potatoes? Anyone coming to dinner?????

If not, what are YOU having????
